|Every Women's Cycle Is Different||Just as each woman’s body is unique, so are our cycles. Generally speaking, the first 2 to 3 days of a period are the heaviest and the flow gradually tapers off during the remainder of the period. The choice of your tampon or pad should mirror your flow’s needs. Most women require at least 2 different sizes of tampons or pads to cover the range of their cycle. What works for you right now could change in the future. There are many things that can cause changes to your period, such as medication changes, pregnancy, or if you are approaching menopause. Pay attention to your flow and adapt your products to best match your needs.|
|How to Choose the Right Tampon||Just as we’re all unique, so are our periods. The certified organic, non-applicator tampons are available in two absorbencies. Regular: Light to Medium flow 6-9g Super: Medium to Heavy flow 9-12g When choosing your tampon, be sure to choose the lowest possible absorbency that meets your period needs. Tampons should be changed every 4 to 6 hours. At the end of this time frame, your tampon should be full, but not leaking. If you find that your tampon is overflowing at the 3 hour mark, you should try one with a higher absorbency. If your tampon is coming out dry after 6 hours, try one with a lower absorbency.|

|The Facts||Nearly half of UK women prefer tampons as their period product of choice. Tampons are a safe and comfortable alternative to pads – provided they are used correctly. Many women feel that tampons allow them to stay more active despite their period, especially when running or swimming. Some say they feel cleaner when they use a tampon rather than a pad, as it keeps your menstrual blood internally. Applicator tampons tend to come in two options – one option with cardboard applicators, which are more environmentally sound and cost-effective, the other with plastic applicators, which many women find more comfortable. If you’re an applicator user, cardboard applicators are a huge and positive step towards cutting out plastics – they are completely compostable and won’t be hanging about on this planet for hundreds of years to come. Grace & Green applicator tampons are made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton and come with a specially designed cardboard applicator with a rounded tip for soft, easy insertion. We also left behind the chemical process to make it gentle and safe for your body and sustainable for our environment.|
